Make sure you can be contacted if the car doesn't sell...

There's no need even to attend the auction when your car is being sold, although it can help to speed up proceedings if your car doesn't quite reach the reserve price. If you can't attend, leave a telephone number where you can be contacted at the time of the sale.

After the car is sold, you will normally be paid out within five days. Make sure you enter your address properly on the entry form. That's where your cheque will be sent. Don't forget to sign on the bottom of the form.
